he Damen Group has a long history of maintaining cruise ships and recognises that the new generation of large cruise ships require yards that not only have the capability to service their complex needs, but which can combine the drydocks big enough to receive them with convenient locations near their home ports and cruising grounds. At Damen we tick all those boxes, and recent yard acquisitions plus the redeployment of resources have strengthened our position as a leading force in cruise ship refit, repair and maintenance in Europe and the Caribbean. The facilities at our yards include more than 40 floating and graving docks, not least Europe’s largest at Brest, France measuring 420 x 80 metres and in Rotterdam, that is 405 by 90 metres, have already hosted cruise ships up to 362-metre, 225,000 GT cruise ship for extensive works programmes.

From maintenance to repairs or refits – we will take care of the entire process for you. Safeguarding efficiency through solid project management, arranging the right facilities, provisions, partners, and subcontractors – these are all part of how we like to do things at DSC. We perform any type of maintenance (e.g. annual, intermediate, special survey) repair, or refits (lifetime extension, refurbishment, Ballast Water Treatment System, or scrubber installation).
